Most ceremonies take place at the pergola on the Wedding Lawn. The stone stairs add drama for the processional but can be tricky—take your time walking down especially in heels and long gowns.
Ceremony Settings
There’s little shade down by the Boat House and Beach House, so plan accordingly for comfort (and SPF levels).
Weather Considerations
If you choose to keep it outdoors, guests will be fully exposed to the elements. CBI doesn’t permit last-minute sheltering in the Boat House.

Thought Wychmere hosts multiple weddings at once, their team coordinates everything seamlessly. You won’t notice a thing. Rooftop deck ceremonies are gorgeous, but very windy. Opt for structured hairstyles—humidity will flatten soft curls immediately and lose hairstyles won’t hold up in high winds.
Ceremony Locations
Beach Ceremonies are beautiful and probably everything you've thought of when getting married on Cape Cod but the reality is it's not easy to walk in. Hot sand, heavy dresses, and heels don’t mix well, so keep that in mind for you and your guests.
Guest Experience
On-Site Suites: Limited availability, so couples should check with Wychmere early about room blocks.
