Wychmere Beach Club

back to THE MAIN BLOG

Erica and David’s wedding at Wychmere Beach Club Dune in the early fall of 2022 was a stunning celebration of love and tradition.

The couple incorporated their unique style into the traditional Jewish ceremony, and the result was a wedding that was both beautiful and memorable.

Getting Ready

Erica and her bridesmaids got ready at an Airbnb with the help of Lisa George Hair & Makeup. The team did a fabulous job, and everyone looked stunning throughout the day. Cindy from Harborview Studios and Alex Paul Photography were there to capture the early moments of the day.

First Look at Wychmere’s Overlook

The couple had a romantic first look at Wychmere’s Overlook, which offered breathtaking views of the ocean.

The couple and the wedding group stayed at the Overlook to take wedding group portraits, capturing their love against the beautiful backdrop.

Afterward, the couple and their friends made their way to Dune, where Erica had a first look with her dad in the VIP room.

VIP Room Ketubah Signing

Shortly after, the couple signed the Ketubah in the same room as Erica’s first look with her dad before the ceremony. Family and friends gathered around to watch the couple sign the beautifully designed ketubah which will be displayed later their home as a symbol of their commitment to each other.

The Jewish Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony took place on Dune’s open-air rooftop deck under a wooden chuppah decorated in gorgeous flowers.

The couple incorporated their own unique style into the traditional Jewish ceremony, with colors of deep reds, oranges, and yellows that popped against the natural beauty of Cape Cod.

Erica walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of “Dancing in the Moonlight,” and after a beautiful sunset ceremony, the groom broke the glass, and the couple walked back up the aisle as a married couple to “Lovely Day” by Bill Withers.

The Reception and Dance Floor

After cocktail hour, the couple and their wedding party were introduced, followed by the introduction of the newlyweds.

Erica and David’s first dance was to “All You Need is Love” by the Beatles, which set the mood for a fun-filled night. The dance floor was never empty, and the traditional hora was incredibly boisterous and fun.
