The resort offers the use of its Bridal Suite, a spacious conference-style area that can comfortably accommodate a large number of people. It is primarily used as a conference room, so expect that as a vibe. If you are looking for luxury—we recommend renting a villa.

If you want photographs and video footage of Getting Ready to capture the quintessential charm of Cape Cod, then renting the Mother Goose House, a private villa, or cottage is recommended.
Weddings that we've filmed that have sizeable parties have rented out multiple villas to house their party comfortably and allow for a tidy, spacious, and fun place for getting ready preparation.
When choosing an off-site location getting ready preparations, opting for an AirBnB can offer a unique experience.
Things to keep in mind when renting Air BnB's are proximity to Wequassett Resort—summertime means it will be necessary to potential traffic-related delays in your timeline. It will also be important to prioritize spacious rooms, not only for preparations but consider you'll be adding one or two more people when it's time for photo and video to arrive.
Finally, natural lighting is essential to ensure stunning photographs and video.
At Wequassett, the sun begins to fade from view well before it reaches the horizon. Due to the resort's strategic positioning on the east and its unique construction, guests will be treated to a phenomenal sunrise but will not enjoy traditional sunsets. However, this does not diminish the allure of the sky in the opposite direction, which can be equally captivating and stunning, albeit in a different way.
Lower-level clouds tend to display an array of fascinating hues, while high-level clouds become saturated with warm, luminous light as the sun sets. To best capture and appreciate this striking phenomenon, we recommend exploring the resort's veranda and dock, both of which offer breathtaking views of the sky. It is important to note, however, that this type of light moves rapidly, and thus, time is of the essence.

At the Wequassett Resort & Golf Club, there are several stunning locations to choose from. Just off the lower veranda, there is a garden that leads to the wedding lawn, offering a private and picturesque setting with the ocean as a breathtaking backdrop.
While the walkway from the Pavilion to the boardwalk is lovely, it is a bit narrow and may not be ideal for a first look, especially for photographers and videographers. However, it can still be a great spot for a couple's session.
One of the most popular locations for a first look at the Wequassett Resort & Golf Club is the famous boardwalk. However, it is important to note that this location can be quite sunny and in the spring, the boardwalk is not yet open and available for use.
